Well, my foreign friends Ellen, Princess from Sweden and Sharri from America visited me with Cindy three days ago so
I became a local guide. All of them lived at my bed room so I slept with my older bro. They arrived at Kaohsiung around 1:30pm. After putting down their luggage, we took MRT to Kaohsiung Arena to have some food.
Glad the weather was good so we could take some good pictures. After the stop in Arena we went to 凹子底 botanical garden near my home.
I like the lake there though it's artificial.... Hehehehe... walking on the wooden pillars in the middle of the lake was really exciting... you could tell from the expression of Princess....lol... We went back home around five since my parents wanna treat them a Japanese all-you-can-eat meal at SOTO. I remember the last time I went there was about two years ago... It's really interesting that my mom always asked me to ask them weather they dare to eat that, that or that... I sort of became an unprofessional interpreter and just found how difficult to translate food from Chinese into English.... Anyway, I think dad and mom were happy to have dinner with my friends.
After dinner we went to Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts planning on watching some performances there, but unfortunately, maybe because it's during Chinese new year, there were no performances and most of the stored there were closed. Therefore, we went home to watch the movie that I highly recommend, "Three Idiots." It's really a good movie yet it's three hours long, so we only watched half of it on the 1st day. I really like two sentences from the movie, "Study to be accomplished, not affluent" and "Follow excellence. And success will chase you, pants down". After watching movie and showering we chatted for a while in my room and slept around 11:30.
hehe see! THAT'S MY GUITAR!!! I played it in the first year in junior high school and gave up in half a year....don't ask me why....- 0 -. Well the first day seemed to end in seconds... =)
