Spelling Bee =)

ALL of us are ALLS. The Department of Applied Lingustics and Language Studies is the biggest winner of 2011's Spelling Bee competition. We embraced the 1st, the 2nd and the 3rd places! Nothing's over our heads huh? hehehehehehehehehe.

Teacher Carol, Maggie, Ivan, Vincent, Doris (back)

Gabriel, Alice and  (front)

This is Vincent, one of  my teamates. He's really outstanding in English in our department and was the number one of last year's Englsih speech contest.

And this is Maggie, the other good teamate of mine. She's a part-time model and is also one of my best friends in ALLS.

Actually we three attended Spelling Bee contest together last year, yet we were so nervous that failed at the semi-final. This year we decided to attend as a group again and swore to be well-prepared. However, we're so busy in differnt things. Vincent's busy practicing cheer squad and preparing for the sports day. Maggie's busy taking wedding dress photos and being a part-time model. As for me, I'm busy in interdepartmental basketball games, traslating and preparing TOEFL. Therefore, we didn't really prepare for the spelling bee contest...We didn't prepare at all so to speak..... Eventhough we're still nervous this time. we GOT THE 2ND PLACE.  But to be frank, I was a little bit (yes just a little bit) depressed....., as I'm really confident in spelling words always. I thought I was on the ball yet I still misspelled some extremely easy words... Anyway...Maggie and Vincent, I gotta say that I feel really good when being part of this group. I hope in the future we could co-operate with each other again.

As for the basketball games, we lost two games already. However, it's not that bad since it's hard for an English-related department (maily consisting of girls) to have a male basketball team and we DO HAVE ONE. I was one of them in the freshman year but due to some reason I quitted half a year later. I got back to the basketball team so as to exercise and learn the spirit of co-operation. I think I've learned a lot during these days (like two months after I got back) and found my passion for basketball back. Cheer up my teamates! Later on we're gonna go to Taipei to have another basketball  tournament. Nothing's next to impossible as long as we co-operate well :)

Well Well Well, I feel like being in Paradise now.  Becasue I'm now in my room in Kaohsiung!!!!

It's always good to be home with family. Hey bro, I'm looking foward to seeing you on Sunday. We're going to celebrate Dad's 60th birthday. I'm soooo excited about it. Sis and Billy, it's really a pity that you cannot join with us. Well, I wanna say thank you that you always give me something from USA that make me feel blessed. Thank you for the birthday gift and the hoodie jacket. As for the TOEFL exam....um....forget about it....................for the time being....lol
