Meeting Up with Old Friends

Today I and two of my best friends in junior high school met up. We've been having great friendship for five years after graduating from junior high school.

We always meet up with each other in summer or winter vacations every year. This time, as Tiffany's gonna go to States and I'm gonna go to Sweden, we decided to have dinner together in early July. After lunch (actually I didn't have anything..becuase I've known I would have a real big meal tonight), we gathered at R13 MRT station which is right downstair my home. Then we went to "駁二" art district planning on watching an exhibition "Chinese Character Festival". In fact, this is the first time I get there. The ticket was 199 $NTD each. What's stupid was that, because the weather was deadly hot, we bought beverages before heading for the art district; however, we're stopped by the attendants in front of the entrance....right... NO BEVERAGES.

Therefore, we three stood aside spending five minutes sucking our beverages up.......It was really stupid. Apparently, "There's always a way out", says Michael Scofield in Prison Break didn't work at all, for there's no way carrying our beverages with us there.... Anyway, we entered the art district eventually. Even though I'm not so into Chinese stuff, I didn't know what to do so Tiffany scheduled up everything.. I have no complaints of it. But I have to say, the exhibition wsn't that bad. We spent like one and half an hour looking around the district. After that we took some pictures with some interesting statues there and left.

My feet look really long, don't they?

I really like the colour of my hair under sunshine

This is my favorite one. It is "求", meaning "demanding for sth or begging for sth"

It's said this one's made by a Japanese and actually the words on it don't really exist...

An intersting 3D ground painting outside the district

This is a Taiwanese Mr. McDonald having too many hamgurgers...

We left at 4:30pm and went to the most important stop of today ---- Korean BBQ Restaurant. It's an all-you-can-eat restaurant which is awesome. We orderd a lot of stuff and ate for TWO hours (nonstop eating) I seemed to have gained 10 kg tonight. After dinner we took a walk at 凹子底 Forest Park. Since we're too full, we sat down on a bench and chatted nearly two hours about lots of things happened in the days in junior high schol and shared each other's prospects in the future. It's just great to have this kinda "old friends" who are albe to share everything with. We'll see each other soon :)
                                                               Take care my friends

The Chinese character "思", meaning "missing something / somebody"
